What a Renovation Coordinator Does in Madeira

A renovation can involve several contractors, professional appointments and owner decisions. A coordinator can help organise communication and the sequence of agreed tasks. The precise service should be documented before work begins.

Keep the brief and decisions visible

A shared brief gives conversations a reference point. Record questions, agreed changes and the person responsible for responding. Coordination helps circulate the right information; the owner and appointed professionals retain their respective decisions and responsibilities.

Organise access and progress communication

Agree how appointments are arranged, who authorises access and how updates are delivered. Useful reporting explains completed work, upcoming tasks and outstanding decisions. Photographs can provide context without replacing technical inspection.

Respect the boundaries of the role

Design, permits, structural questions, certification and construction belong with the appropriate qualified professionals or contractors. FancyBiz coordinates practical aspects of the project according to the contracted scope; it does not present coordination as a substitute for specialist work.

Ask about the arrangement before committing

Clarify the scope, fees, communication frequency, change process and handover arrangements. Ask what is excluded as well as what is included. Request a project review and explain the property, your priorities and whether you will be nearby or abroad.
